sexta-feira, setembro 23, 2022
The construction of a corn-based biodiesel plant is articulated by the city of Rondonópolis with a group of investors from the United Arab Emirates. It is expected that approximately R$ 1 billion will be injected into the municipality with the implementation of the project.
The project for the implementation of the biodiesel plant was presented by entrepreneurs representing the investor group last Wednesday (21) for the city of Rondonópolis.
Investors knew the potential of the municipality, according to the city, during the last edition of the 48th Exposul, agricultural fair that took place between August 8 and 14.
Consolidation of Rondonópolis as importer and exporter
The investment of approximately R$ 1 billion for the construction of the plant, as highlighted by the investor group to the city, would be the minimum amount to make the biodiesel plant in the municipality viable.
The resource would come from the Ya Kareem multi-market investment fund, a sovereign wealth fund that helps to ensure, in addition to other factors, ensuring food for Arabs and Muslims.
"We are consolidating ourselves as the largest importer and exporter of Mato Grosso and among the 20 cities that import most in Brazil and we can not miss this moment," says Deputy Mayor Aylon Arruda.
