Next week – days 30 and 31 – Foz do Iguaçu will host one of the most strategic events focused on Beans and Special Harvests in the country – the Dry Beans and Special Crops International SUMMIT 2023.

Promoted by the Brazilian Institute of Beans, Pulses and Special Harvests (IBRAFE), Dry Beans and Sesame Seeds and APEX Brasil, the Summit will be the perfect opportunity for companies that are interested in knowing the great potential and possibilities of Latin American countries in producing Beans, Sesame, Peanuts and other export-oriented specialties.

The content aims to give a glimpse of the future of superfood production and show sustainable Brazil. Among the sponsors, the Summit counts on Itaipu Binacional, which supports sustainable development, promoting food security.  

Exporters from all over Latin America, as well as importers from all over the world, are expected in Foz do Iguaçu. The event will be focused on content sharing, through lectures and panels highlighting the quality of Dried Beans, Sesame and Peanuts from Brazil and Latin America.

Programming

There will be two full days of agenda full of the highest quality content, with the participation of speakers from Brazil, China, India, the United States, Paraguay, Argentina, among others.

Among the highlights of the first day of programming are the panels on China – Brazil; a lecture on the partnership between India and Brazil for food security, and a panel on importing Pulses and Special Crops, with the participation of representatives of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). 

On the 31st the agenda begins with the Organic Sesame as the theme of the first lecture, followed by meetings on Chickpeas, Peanuts and Special Beans. A panel on logistics and a lecture on climate and food production are also included in the program. 

Within this schedule are also planned moments for networking and business meetings.
