Entrepreneurs create underground irrigation system that spends 50% less water

The use of natural resources consciously has been a growing concern among businesses and consumers. Sectors that use water frequently – such as agriculture and gardening – have been looking for economic alternatives, with an eye on environmental impact. Aware of this trend, an American family business has developed an underground irrigation device that spends 50% less water than conventional forms of land hydration.
Californian Root Quencher developed the equipment to minimize the waste generated by surface evaporation of water. Another benefit, according to the brand, is that the device provides water directly to the roots, region of the plant in which it is most needed.
Root Quencher is available in two different sizes and can be used with existing crop-based swiper systems or through a simple hose connection.
According to the springwise website, the device is made of recycled plastic and lasts for years, and can be inserted into the soil at various depths, depending on the size of the plants. Fertilizer can be added to the equipment for application along with irrigation. You can also direct water.
New products to be launched by Root Quencher in 2023 and 2024 include a slope irrigation apparatus and a lawn irrigation system designed to replace above-ground sprayers.
