The Federal Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany, Svenja Schulze, said on Monday, 30, that Brazil could be a global leader in the area of green hydrogen. Svenja was in Brasilia, on an official visit of the German government, which was attended by Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
Schulze had a meeting with The Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Marina Silva, who said that the Lula government works on a trade agreement and opening up new markets, which can not only bring financial gains to the country, but also to communities that survive from forests.
Marina also commented that Brazil is making a great effort to accelerate partnerships and become a major energy supplier to Europe. "Not only with the potential of green hydrogen, but also with partnership with German, European companies, so that we can have more hydrogen production," he said at a meeting.
