In order to increase exports of Brazilian products, The Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Carlos Fávaro, proposed that the simplification of the procedure for enabling establishments for the export of animal products be worked on. The intention is that companies have a pre-defined process that allows for faster processing.
The proposal, according to the Mapa, was presented by the minister after a meeting with the Brazilian Agency for The Promotion of Exports and Investments (ApexBrasil) in the search to expand foreign trade in states with lower participation in the international market.
"We are working to expand our market, show Brazil's potential for the world and this also includes the simplification of internal processes so that companies can also prepare for this new moment," said the minister.
To market its products to other countries, the company must be properly qualified, following the traffic procedures and sanitary certification established in Ordinance SDA No. 431/2021.
According to the Map, it is important that the Departments of Management and Quality or the sectors responsible for the establishments interested in being able to strictly comply with the criteria defined in the standard and closely observe the requirements of the country to which they wish to export, which can be verified with the Division of Qualification and Certification (DHC).
