Exports grow as agribusiness advances

Brazil had a record in 2022 in the current of trade (sum of exports and witnesses) according to a balance sheet released by the government. As disclosed in January 2022, the Brazilian trade chain reached US$ 559.6 billion, a 22.4% increase compared to the same period last year.
Exports also grew. From January to November 2022, more than US$ 308 billion were generated by exports. In 2021, it closed the export balance with US$ 280 billion. According to the government, one of the main reasons for this growth is the high prices of commodities in the international market, since the country stands out in the export of soybeans, coffee, beef, iron ore, among others.
According to the publication of the Ministry of Economy, the proportion of the manufacturing industry in exports fell, with 54% of exports represented in 2022 (until November).
