Natural control of nematodes: Learn the POTENTIAL of this market
terça-feira, outubro 18, 2022
Bionematicide production has been gaining momentum following the increase in corn production worldwide, according to a survey by Global Market Insights. According to them, the market size for these natural control nematode products will reach more than $209.1 million by 2024.
According to the study, the sector has been driven by rapid industrialization, along with the decrease in the availability of areas for cultivation and crop yield. Another factor is the limitations of chemical nematicides due to the inherent dangers, which increased interest in environmentally correct management tools.
"Consequently, the bionematicide smarket is expected to register a constant expansion in the coming years, as these organisms are beneficial not only for soil health, but also for the environment. Bionematicides [...] act synergistically and additively with several other agricultural insums, marking their presence in integrated pest management (MIP) programs," global market insights projects.
The survey points out that several new bionematicides have been introduced lately. There is a movement of several manufacturers that are increasingly focusing on marketing actions based on inorganic growth to strengthen their commercial presence. Agrochemical giants are buying smaller manufacturers and adding these solutions to their portfolios.
The bionematicides market is also driving the increase in research and development (R&D) programs for the use of fungal and bacterial nematicides in sustainable cultivation. In addition, there is rapid progress in biotechnology, as well as increasing regulatory support for innovations – all of these factors that converge to the growth of the bionematicides market.
