Biodiesel prices remain on the rise. After climbing about 3% over the 1st bimester, the figures calculated by the National Agency for Oil, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) indicate a rise of another 1.5% in the week between February 20 and March 6.

In the national weighted average, each cubic meter (m³) of biodiesel was traded for R$ 6,808.82. That's R$ 103.25 more than in the previous period. Since the ANP began to monitor biodiesel prices weekly, the values accumulate high of 4.7%

The prices charged for biodiesel have increased in all regions of the country. The biggest adjustment from one week to another was in the Northern Region, where the high was 2.3%. The lowest amount was recorded in the southern states of the country where prices varied only 1.1%.
