quinta-feira, agosto 04, 2022
Brazil will export beef with bone to Uruguay and feed of non-animal origin (food additives, premixes and compound foods) to Morocco. The openings were made official in July with acceptance of plant health protocols by the countries involved, according to information from the Secretariat of Trade and International Relations of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa) obtained exclusively by Broadcast Agro.
In all, last month seven markets were opened for Brazilian agricultural products, including the possibility of exporting shelled peanuts, soybean meal, citrus pulp, concentrated soy protein and bovine fetal serum to China —these anticipated in the last week. In the year, the portfolio totals 39 shares of market openings. In June, open markets mainly involved flour and animal feed products for new countries.
Before the deal with Uruguay
In May, before the deal to offer beef with bone to Uruguay, Brazil obtained the possibility of exporting coconut seeds and bovine semen. In April, the highlights of the market openings were bovine genetic material, poultry genetic material and animal meal. In March, new markets were opened for beef and pork from Brazil and animal genetic material. In February, the openings mainly involved poultry genetic material, meat and vitamins for new countries. In January, the highlights were openings for acid lime, carrot seeds, bovine and buffalo embryos, pet, sheep and goat foods.
