terça-feira, julho 12, 2022
Corn and wheat export inspections increased week-by-week, while bean ratings fell, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Corn inspections for the seven days ending July 8 increased to 933,725 tons from 876,386 tons the previous week, the government said in a report.
The total, however, was below the 1 million tons calculated in the same week of the previous year. Wheat assessments last week were reported at 309,802 metric tons, up from 272,940 tons the previous week, the agency said. This was still below the 429,316 tons examined for overseas delivery at the same point last year.
Soybean inspections fell week-to-week to 356,716 tons, down from 437,318 the previous week. Still, that was higher than the 201,129 tons surveyed in the same week in 2021, the USDA said. Since the beginning of the year of trading on September 1, the USDA has inspected 49.2 million tons of corn for offshore delivery.
That's down from 59.3 million tons during the same period a year earlier, the agency said. Soybean assessments since the beginning of September are now at 52.2 million tons, down from 57.8 million tons surveyed in the same period a year earlier. Wheat inspections since the beginning of the grain harvest on June 1 are now at 1.92 million tons, behind the 2.34 million tons valued at the same point last year, the USDA said in its report.
